Customer Review:
I bought this CD some years and have loved it ever since. (ESPECIALLY the Spice Girls arrangement!)
I loaned this CD to a Bass player in the RSNO and found that every Bass player had borrowed it and loved it too. The disc then travelled round the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestras Bass section with similar claim before the SCO guys got it!
That's about 20 pro. bass players who enjoyed it so it must have SOMETHING going for it. (The fav. track? You guessed it - the Spice Girls 'tribute).
Buy this and love it too.

Customer Review:
Please ignore the above review. This is a good fun album. The playing is very good. These really are some of the finest musicians around. It is not a serious cd, but a group of superb bass players letting their hair down and having fun making good music. I am a pro Double Bassist of 20 odd years experience and I think the standard of playing is excellent. Some of the players on this cd could quite legitmately be called geniuses so I think the bass student writing above should keep practising and if he is lucky he may possess an ounce of the talent these players have!Ps The spice girls arrangement is brilliant, and yet I can't stand the Spice Girls!

Customer Review:
Please, whatever you do, do not buy this cd. It's the worst recording I have ever experienced and as a student of the double bass in London, and with the limited amount of recordings that are available, I know a bad recording when I hear it. To say it was amateur would be an injustice to amateur musicians, who surely can come up with something better rehearsed, better together and better in tune than a lot of the tracks featured. And having a Spice Girls tune on here is just ridiculous!! Thoroughly misrepresents the bass playing world.
